In order to provide AIM's Graduate School of Business students with more placement opportunities, the Career Management Services arranged with Contact Singapore, a company presentation before the students on November 4, 2009 at the AIM Campus. Contact Singapore is the Singapore's government agency tasked to invite foreigners into their country.
Aside from orienting the students on what they do, Lee Puay York (Area Director for Southeast Asia) offered students an apprenticeship program called “Shadow C-Suite @ Singapore”. In this program, successful applicants will have a chance to work alongside senior executives in Singapore, who can also mentor them to becoming executives like them. The program duration for apprenticeship is 4-12 weeks. Program participants in the past have come from global advisory firms (E & Y, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG), international banks (Deutsche, Standard Chartered), and leading enterprises (Keppel, ST Asset Management, Quest Software).
Deadline of application for "Shadow C-Suite @ Singapore" is on December 15, 2009. Interested student applicants may email cmssupport@aim.edu for additional information on the program.
