invite you to the
The year 2011 hosted a wide range of extraordinary events which affected the lives of the majority of Filipinos. The country observed the arrest of a former president, a new government in action, more debates on the Reproductive Health Bill and the ARMM polls, and the people’s revived optimism. During these times, it is important to recognize and understand the perception of the people.
On its 11th year of partnership, the AIM Policy Center and Social Weather Stations, with support from the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, will assess the major experiences of the Philippines in the past year.
How does the public feel about the government’s performance? What is happening to poverty, hunger, and public morale? These are some of the issues that the SWS surveys of 2011 have dealt with.
An integrated presentation of these issues will be discussed by Dr. Mahar Mangahas, President of SWS, during the 2012 SWS Survey Review. It will be followed by reactions from distinguished representatives of the public and private sector.
This event is open to the public. However, limited seats are available to registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.
