AIM Alumnus Brings Hope to Natural Disaster Victims

Albay Governor and AIM Alumnus (MBM 1990, With Distinction) Joey Salceda found a way to bring hope and help to the Typhoon “Sendong” victims of Cagayan de Oro. Instead of spending time at home for the holidays, the members of Team Albay – composed of Gov. Salceda, 4 doctors, 20 nurses, a 35-person water/sanitation team, were at their fourth rescue operation from Dec. 22 to Jan. 5. Coming from Albay, a poor and disaster prone province, Salcada’s team brings home the message that one does not need to be rich in order to be generous and to save lives.
