STIKE Kapihan: On Disaster Preparedness and Management

After having had a successful run of the first Disaster Nursing and Emergency Response Training Course held last May 7-8, 2012, the AIM Dr Stephen Zuellig Center for Asian Business Transformation (AIM ZCABT) has noted the relevance and impact these trainings give to medical practitioners and the shaping of the current emergency response system in the Philippines. As a rejoinder to this feedback, the monthly Science, Technology, Innovations, Knowledge, and Entrepreneurship (STIKE) Kapihan, which aims to bring together people from different organizations of both the private and public sector, has set its next meeting to be on Disaster Preparedness and Management.

We would like to invite you to attend and actively participate in the discussion with our speakers, Ms. Sandy Montano, Vice-President and Business Development Director of the Community Health Education Emergency Rescue Services Corp., and Ms. Hilda Tabar-Cleofe, Executive Director of the Corporate Network for Disaster Response.

The meeting will be on May 31, 2012 (Thursday), 3:00PM-5:00PM at the Soriano room, 3F Asian Institute of Management.

Seats are limited, thus we request that you RSVP your attendance on or before May 25, 2012. For questions and clarifications, please contact Mariska Barretto through telephone number 892-4011 loc. 2073 or email at
